Composites invite applications for the following positions:
Trainee CNC Operator
To undergo a training program to set-up
and operate 3 axis and 5 axis computer controlled milling
machines. The successful applicant will be
good with their hands and have a strong interest in motor sport and/or
mechanical things. Basic computer skills are required and a desire to work
as part of a team.
Experienced Composite Laminators
Able to work with a minimum of supervision
to exacting standards. The successful applicant will be competent with
interpreting layup manuals, engineering drawings and have a full
understanding of modern composite manufacturing techniques.
Industrial
Placement
The placement will involve working in most
departments, experiencing both the hands on practicality of this industry
as well as assisting in some administrative tasks. Placement projects can
vary from using CAE software - modelling patterns, unwrapping material
templates and OMV inspections - to designing and implementing new programs
/ procedures to help with the productivity of the company. The successful
applicant must be enthusiastic, self motivated and able to apply themselves
to a wide variety of tasks. They must have a good working knowledge of most
MS software as well as having a proven competency using CAD packages.
